If game development is an artform, then surely game art must be the most artsy artform of all time, amirite?? OK, maybe not ALL time, but we think it’s a pretty darn important part of building our unique brand of comedy games, loved by players young and old!

Are you a Senior Game Artist based in the Copenhagen area looking to take artistic ownership of an exciting new multiplayer game? If so, then read on!

What You Will Do

You will join one of our small (but perfectly formed) project teams currently working on a brand new multiplayer game for mobile/tablet.

Working closely with the team’s Game Director and the studio Art Director, your mission is to uphold and deliver on the artistic vision, own all art related areas of the project and to support your team in the launch and ongoing live development of the game.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure game adheres to the established artistic vision
  • Design, build and iterate on Unity UI layouts
  • Support the project and team in all art related areas
  • Contribute to and supervise production of 2D & 3D assets
  • Level dress up/decoration
  • Write briefs, review and approve assets made by external artists
  • Create concepts for in-game cosmetic items
  • Estimation and planning of art related tasks

Requirements

  • Currently based in the Copenhagen area (no relocation)
  • 6+ years of commercial game experience
  • Extensive Unity experience
  • Art octopus - skilled in all areas of game art including 2D, 3D and UI
  • Ability to adapt and work within defined art styles
  • Familiar with using Unity UI
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills
  • Sweet Illustrator and Photoshop skills
  • A passion for games!

Bonus Traits

  • Strong UX design instincts
  • Blender experienced
  • Shipped at least one game as the sole or lead artist
  • Worked with a similar visual style to ours
