Senior Programmer for Live-Ops

We are looking for an experienced programmer to help develop our live comedy games across several platforms.

You've worked on several live games, are comfortable making architecture decisions that affect players, know your way around game systems, and can work with build systems to maintain release processes across several platforms.

If that’s you, then come help us make comedy games 🍌 🐴

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

A bit of everything! As a Senior Programmer, you will work across our live games to help maintain everything from release pipelines to in-game systems. You will be part of a small live-ops team, working closely with other programmers, designers, QA testers, and artists.

We work in Unity and everyone on the team works in the editor and is very hands-on. Everyone is part of defining and prioritizing their tasks. The job involves silly physics, bad jokes, stupid ideas, failed prototypes, and lots of laughs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering builds across several platforms
  • Ownership of Live Ops core systems
  • Maintaining existing platform ports to support new devices and platform features
  • Help the team debug issues and keep the existing content free of bugs

        REQUIREMENTS:

        • Proficiency in C# and a deep knowledge of the Unity engine and editor
        • Experienced user of version control software (we use git)
        • 5+ years of experience and having shipped games as part of a team on more than one platform (desktop, mobile, and/or console)

        ADDED BONUSES:

        • Experience working with build pipelines like Jenkins
        • Experience working on live games
        • Experience shipping games for specific platforms like PlayStation, Switch, iOS
        • Know how to make tools that help your team make better games
        • Experience with cool things like graphics performance optimization
        • You can come up with your own ideas, solutions, and wacky things 😁

REQUIREMENTS FOR ANY JOB OPENING AT TRIBAND:

            • You thrive in taking ownership of your area, spotting problems, asking for advice when in doubt, and implementing your own solution.
            • You actively support a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, inclusiveness, and creativity.
            • A great working environment is important for you and you help out around you.
            • You have team production experiences, such as using git, branching, stand-ups, sprints, and reviews.

              PRACTICALITIES:

              • 37 hours work week with options for flexible schedules
              • No crunch - people over deadlines
              • Our working language is English
              • The job is on-site at our nice office in downtown Copenhagen, Denmark. (We can't help with relocation, sorry!)

                WE OFFER:

                • Quite silly projects
                • Very nice colleagues
                • Pretty chill and non-competitive working environment where failure is part of the success
                • Lunch included (also vegetarian/vegan options)
                • Paid parental leave
                • Pension plan
                • Health Insurance

                  DEADLINE AND START:

The application deadline is April 15, 2024, but we'll look at applications as they arrive.

We hope that you can start as soon as possible, but we will wait for the right candidate.

                  WHAT THE TRIBAND?

We make people laugh! To do so, we focus on exploring comedy through gameplay. We like breaking player expectations, wonderous music, slick art, and a quirky atmosphere. We experiment a lot and it doesn’t always work out, but we always learn something.

We are currently ~37 people of 11 different nationalities. We put people first and strive to create a safe and creative working environment. We believe that teams, not individuals, make games - and we believe diversity makes for better teams. For these reasons, we look for people, who make the team better, bring new perspectives, and will challenge us and our way of doing things!
